The Wyoming Library Leadership Institute (WLLI) is the place for you as long as you have the necessary spark to lead the Wyoming libraries of tomorrow!

The Leadership Institute exists to provide opportunities for learning, mentoring and developing leadership skills to promote the personal and professional growth of the Wyoming library community.

WLLI is a tool for nurturing both degreed and non-degreed individuals in leadership roles. It’s not a workshop on becoming a library director or a workshop on library administration.

Broomstick lace is a unique crochet stitch. The design is made by using a crochet hook to pull tall loops of thread up on to a large knitting needle or dowel (historically, a broomstick, which is where the name comes from).

Join Hailey as she teaches the technique while you make a lovely cowl.

Materials needed: Worsted weight yarn, size I (5.5mm) crochet hook, a large diameter dowel or knitting needle (size 15+). The larger the dowel or knitting needle, the larger the loops created.
