Jurassic Classic Mountain Bike Festival

Hosted by The Bike Mill, Gannett Peak Sports, and the Lander Cycling Club

This weekend-long home-grown fun-filled mountain bike festival is back!! Good Friends, Great Beer, Bike Demos, Group Rides, Clinics, Raffles, Trade Fair, Live Music, and lots of shenanigans.


Wisdom Workout

This workout is about health, longevity, injury prevention, and positive community support. Our focus will be about form and functional movement as a foundation. Feel the burn knowing you are creating good movement patterns that actually keep you healthy and moving well for a lifetime. We will be primarily using body weight, bands, and sometimes partners.

Wellness Program – Our Wellness Program is designed to help transition from physical therapy to finding your groove in your own exercise and wellness program. This will also be an appropriate series for anyone who is not in PT, but is having pain, or anyone wanting to prevent pain and injury. This series will focus on how to prevent and overcome common overuse injuries and pain from biking, running, and hiking.

This series will run June 1st – August 31st.

We are now offering this program as a class. You may drop in for $12, use your punch card, or membership.

Hosted by Jurassic Classic Mountain Bike Festival

Adult Strider bike races, bunny hop comp, raffle, beer, food, and lots more shenanigans at Lander’s NORTH PARK. 8th and Jefferson St. (NOT City Park)

Multiple booths with people selling mountain bike stuff, local vendors, info booths from the BLM, Wyoming Pathways, Forest Service, and many many more!

The big party of the weekend! Jurassic Classic festival ticket not required, open to the public for free.


Golf Scramble fundraiser

At the Lander Golf Course
Hosted by Habitat For Humanity Wind River Country

This will be a 18 hole scramble event to help raise funds for our local Habitat affiliate for Fremont County. Golfers can register as individuals for $75 and get put into teams or four person teams can register for $300. Even if you are not a golfer, there are many ways you can help us make this first golf scramble fundraiser a big success. You can sponsor a hole for $200, donate a prize to be given away for things like longest putt. You can make a donation. Or you can come and cheer folks on.

Evening Guided Trail Hikes at South Pass City

Each is unique & guided by South Pass City State Historic Site Staff members. There will be working demonstrations of mining & milling equipment on the Flood and Hindle Trail at South Pass City Wyoming State Historic Site.  The tour will include the operation of the Arrastra Water Wheel and the Stamp Mill.  The trail is 1.2 miles long on uneven terrain, so wear good comfortable shoes.


Sock Blank Dyeing Class

Hand dye your very own sock blank to be used to create a matching pair of socks or a beautiful shawl.

A sock blank is a knitted piece of material that once dyed can be unraveled to turn into a new creation. Everything you need will be provided. Leave with a sock blank dyed and instructions on how to steam set your yarn at home.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (cotton is suggested, the acid dyes should wash out).

Easy, fun class! Just show up, pick your colors, and dye!

Class space limited, so get your space secured right away!
