Continuing building the trail we started last fall connecting Dry Well Rd to Red Ridge.

We’re making great progress on Lander’s newest trail so the more of you that come the faster we can get it done and get to enjoying it!

Meet at JBR at 5:30pm. All are welcome. Bring gloves, water, snacks, and hardy shoes. Tools will be provided.


Climb the Grand Silent Auction & Fundraiser

At the Gannett Grill

Join us at the Gannett Grill patio for food, drink, and a silent auction to raise money for this year’s Climb the Grand Scholarship. We are sending four high school students from around Fremont County on a guided trip up the Grand Teton in July – a once in a lifetime opportunity for these kids. The silent auction bidding will be from 5:30-8:00, with open mic music, a presentation from last year’s recipients, and a chance to meet this year’s awardees. Then stay afterwards for music from Jason Tyler Burton! A portion of food and drink proceeds go towards the scholarship as well.

“Life of Washakie” exhibition Friday

Dear Friends of the Lander Museums, Pioneer Association, and Ralston Collection Enthusiasts:
The Pioneer Association and Tumbleweed Gallery will sponsor a “Life of Washakie” exhibition this Friday evening, 5-8 pm at the Tumbleweed Gallery, 360 Main in Lander.

Come to celebrate the many donors, trusts, and the State of Wyoming in this project to procure the Washakie Chronicles for the Fremont County Pioneer Museum.

All are welcome for wine, cheese, and soft drinks in the Tumbleweed gallery setting. Children are invited also, and this is a free event for the public. We hope you will drop by!
