Wyoming Game & Fish Department Public Meeting

At Wyo10 – Fremont Broadcasting KOVE & KDLY Radio Stations

The Department will hold statewide meetings to discuss proposed changes to some regulations.

Good Samaritan Free Community Meal

Every Friday Night
530-7pm
At the Lander United Methodist Church

Who is the meal intended for?  This event is intended for folks in our community who are in need… families, singles, couples, adults, children, etc. In particular… no income, low income, and fixed income people as well as those in our community who are just trying to make ends meet.

Who will serve the meal?  Volunteers… 6-12 per week

Financial donations to help fund the meal can be made by following this link (“Good Samaritan Community Meal Fund” will be listed as an option).

Saturday Jam Sessions

12-2pm
At The Bake Shop

Jam Sessions at the Lander Bake Shop Saturdays 12-2. All acoustic instruments, all kinds of music, all ages, all abilities. Come! Play! Sing! Listen! Everyone is welcome!
Special Jam Session on July 4th.  Time will change to the morning so you can enjoy the music while you wait for the parade to start.

We are a year round weekly farmers market! We feature produce, cheese, meat, eggs, flowers, other farm products, baked goods, and crafts locally produced in Fremont County.

Wellness Program – Shoulder Series

Tuesday April 3

At Ananda Yoga Lander

Wellness Program – Our Wellness Program is designed to help transition from physical therapy to finding your groove in your own exercise and wellness program. This will also be an appropriate series for anyone who is not in PT, but is having pain, or anyone wanting to prevent pain and injury. This series will focus on proper engagement and stretching of the shoulders.

To sign up, drop a check off at the studio inside with one of our teachers, or in our mailbox. $40 for this 4 week series.

Wyoming Independent Music Initiative Listening Session in Lander

Wednesday April 4
7-9pm
At the Coalter Loft

The Wyoming Arts Council would like to invite independent musicians in the Fremont County area to attend the Wyoming Independent Music Initiative (WIMI) Listening Session in Lander. This session is an opportunity for independent musicians to provide feedback about the future of WIMI, and to voice their ideas on the challenges of performing in the state.

The session is schedule on Wednesday, April 4 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Coalter Loft above The Gannett Grill, located at 126 Main Street in Lander. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

The WIMI Listening Session is open to all Wyoming artists who identify as independent musicians, as well as any industry professionals such as technicians and presenters interested in attending.
