Wellness Program – Our Wellness Program is designed to help transition from physical therapy to finding your groove in your own exercise and wellness program. This will also be an appropriate series for anyone who is not in PT, but is having pain, or anyone wanting to prevent pain and injury. This series will focus on how to prevent and overcome common overuse injuries and pain from biking, running, and hiking.

This series will run June 1st – August 31st.

We are now offering this program as a class. You may drop in for $12, use your punch card, or membership.


59 Annual Eastern Shoshoni Indian Days Pow-wow

Thursday 6/21 – Sunday 6/24

All are welcome at the 59th Annual Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow and Indian Rodeo and Relay Races on June 22-24, 2018 on the Wind River Reservation in Fort Washakie, Wyoming. The Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow is Wyoming’s largest powwow, showcaing competitions of more than 700 dancers and some 15 professional drum groups.

In addition to the Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow singing and dancing, other family friendly activities include an All Indian Parade, and Indian games for all ages such as arrow toss, foot races, stick ball games and a tug of war. Don’t miss the Eastern Shoshone Indian Days Powwow, voted one of the top 10 powwows in the USA.

The Sinks Canyon Rough and Tumble Trail Runs start and finish in beautiful Sinks Canyon, the corridor to Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains. You can expect scenery that includes wildflower heaven, snow and ice covered peaks, deep canyons, enormous views, and fun trails. This race is hosted by the Lander Running Club, an inclusive, community-based organization for and by runners. Join us for a fun, and challenging, day of running some of the West’s premier trails.

Lets get our garden decorations ready for the warm weather with these fantastic knitted birds. They make the perfect addition to any décor, indoor or outside. Join us for this knitted bird class, and learn how to create your very own.

Cats aren’t the only ones dreaming of birds these days!

Skill level: intermediate to advanced knitting

Materials Needed: Leftover wool yarn in fingering or sport weight, Set of 5 dpn (2.75mm [size 2] to 3.25mm [size 3)] depending on yarn – or a long circular needle to work in magic loop. Crochet hook same size as yarn or Size C/2.75mm. Filling: roving if felting, pillow stuffing if not (cotton or poly), or leftover carded wool yarn. Darning needle.

The 2018 Summer Concerts series Hot Notes Cool Nites kicks off on Monday, June 25.
Dave Munsick: The SongTeller will perform at 7 pm, at the CWC Intertribal Center, Riverton.
